Harder Better Faster Stronger
I have been invited to hold a small exhibition at Bukit Jalil Tsutaya Books from October 31st, 2022 until November 27th, 2022.
EXHIBITION STATEMENT
Living through the COVID-19 pandemic has been challenging for everyone, myself included. As the pandemic entered its second year, I stumbled upon a fitness channel on YouTube that caught my attention.
Being confined to my home during the pandemic presented an opportunity to develop a consistent exercise routine, which reignited my passion for life. Not only did it greatly improve my mental health, but it also provided a healthy outlet for stress relief. I quickly became enamoured with this habit of naturally boosting dopamine and building inner strength by gradually increasing the frequency and intensity of my workouts.
With my artwork, I aim to share my journey and help others understand the profound impact of exercise on our well-being. I hope to inspire people to embrace the essence of exercise, which promotes both physical and mental health, as well as serves as a source of rest and relaxation.
The exhibition's title, "Harder Better Faster Stronger", was inspired by one of my favourite songs from the French electronic music duo Daft Punk, which I love to listen to while exercising.
